This note provides our personal reference for Jerry . Jin, who has been our driver and home translator since we hired him in December 2005.
Jerry is a sound and safe driver, with a good knowledge of Beijing in general and of locations visited by ex-pats in particular. He used to drive to and from Tianjin regularly, and he was always calm and sensible on the highway, whilst many other drivers on that road take unnecessary risks.
Jerry speaks excellent English, and so he has also been our home translator during this time. We have called him many times when he was not with us in order to obtain his help - at times we would simply call Jerry's mobile and hand our phone to whoever we were not able to understand.
Jerry has also been flexible in his approach to work. He has helped us in many areas, from being tour guide for visiting friends to moving tanks of tropical fish!
It is worth pointing out that whilst we have met many other ex-pats with drivers over the last year, none of these had a driver with , Jerry's ability to speak English
In summary, we know we have been lucky to have had  Jerry as our driver while China.

No Matter where you are with J&T, if accidents do occur we can get you quickly to the highest standard medical care you require.Once again your well being is our priority. Food and water are safe in China . You don’t have to worry about that. Bottled water is available everywhere from shops to street stores and in restaurants, if you’re served water that is in a glass, it is coming from a large cooler – not the tap.
